When I was bought this toothbrush I was sceptical. Although my dentist had recommended an electric toothbrush to prevent the common problems of brushing too hard, damaging gums and causing sensitive teeth, I couldn't see how a toothbrush could justify the price tag. However, i have to say it is far removed from your average, everyday toothbrush. Hard to explain but your teeth do feel so much cleaner. Kinda like you've had them polished by a hygienist every time. Wierd but true. Anyway I'm more than happy with it but don't take my word for it...

Read several of the comments and was slightly put off by the comments, however at £[...] it was cheap enough to try for a year and if it fails then so be it.
This is my first foray into the world of sonic toothbrushes after my dentist indicated that all his staff use them. My teeth feel instantly cleaner after the first time, and 1 week in, I am noticing a real and sustained difference.
Free delivery in 3 days.....I wonder why anyone ever goes to the high street!
Update after 9months - tooth brush still going strong and thoroughly happy with battery life and sustained performance. Have even bought my wife one since.

Oh My God! I've just had a GREAT experience at my first 6-monthly checkup since buying my Philips HX7351 Sonicare Electric Toothbrush.
After the standard amount of prodding about inside my mouth (I'd noticed that the dentist had not done any of the scraping that usually goes on), my dentist said to me "I have to say that I'm really impressed with your brushing". Woo hoo ;-)

Not only that, but because the "Scrape & Polish" was not required, I saved about £15!

My Mum has just started to use the spare head (the more the merrier I say). She is very pleased about the condition of her teeth after just a few days later. She tells me that there's a really noticable improvement in the colour of my teeth. I'm still self concious about this, but it helps to hear good news like that.

MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
