The Sonicare Elite HX7351 toothbrush has a smartimer which encourages 2 minute brushing which is advised by dental professionals. The smartimer automatically stops after the advised 2 minute brushing time has elapsed. If the smartimer is interrupted whilst its timing it will resume where it left off for example to apply more toothpaste of rinse.

The smartimer resets itself if you stop your Sonicare HX7351 for more than 45 seconds, it automatically resets to ensure a complete 2 minute brushing cycle the next time you use it, but you can always stop or restart the toothbrush at any time by pressing the power button.
